The Camera & Clipboard
Historic Architectural Survey Newsletter
The Camera & Clipboard is a publication of the Office
of Archaeology and Historic Preservation aimed at those with an
interest in architectural survey. The newsletter serves as a channel
of communication between those who produce survey data, those who
process and store the data, and those who use the data.
The newsletter will be published
periodically on our web site in a PDF format to answer survey
questions, share new techniques,
discuss problem and concerns, and to suggest methods and materials.
The newsletter contains information on the survey process, historic
contexts, biographies of Colorado architects, architectural styles
and types, and discussions of resource significance and eligibility
for historic designation. It is our intent that this newsletter
serve as a two-way vehicle. We welcome your ideas, suggestions,
questions, concerns and criticism as they relate to the architectural
survey process and products in Colorado.
