Facilities Preservation and "Greening" Manager

The Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA), a 501(c)3 Colorado non-profit corporation that is the steward of the Colorado Chautauqua National Historic Landmark (NHL) in Boulder, seeks a Facilities and Preservation Manager to take responsibility for preservation, repair and maintenance, capital improvement projects and activities, and the “greening” of the Colorado Chautauqua NHL.  The ideal candidate will have the experience, abilities and attitudes necessary to lead the Association’s mission of preserving, perpetuating and improving the site, respecting historic design integrity while accommodating modern usage and incorporating evolving sustainability practices.

Required: Well-rounded experience with historic preservation, construction and capital projects.  10+ years progressively responsible experience in managing people and projects.  Experience developing and implementing "green" initiatives.  Desired experience: private sector; facilities asset management.
